“Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.” — Martin Luther King Jr.
Mr Benjamin Seema is a self-motivated individual with an immense drive to explore emerging Information Communication Technologies and adapt them into mainstream teaching and learning. I am in possession of a Master of Science Degree in Education, Technology and Society (ETS) acquired in 2013 from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom. Currently employed at MCE as Head of Department for Educational Technology and Learning Resource Centre. My responsibilities among others include development of e-Learning Instructional Materials as well and resourcing college staff on the use of ICT to enhance teaching and learning with a view to encourage continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
My Journey in BOSETU started in 1998 as a member of the then BOFESETE. It will be my passion for justice and the need for workplace harmony that will see my desire to serve in the structures of the Union being ignited. Having previously served in the National Executive Committee of the Botswana Integrated Sports Association (BISA both as Publicity Secretary 2005,2006 & Secretary General 2006 - 2010) made the task an easy one to undertake since I was not new to leadership roles.
Lifelong learning is the ongoing process of learning in various contexts from childhood and adulthood to old age. Newton D Baker posits that "The man who graduates today and stops learning tomorrow is uneducated the day after." Hence the following credentials have been added through short courses and workshops.
Roles in BOSETU include among others;
