Ntshegetse Exit Package 2025 — Applications Now Open

Botswana Sectors of Educators Trade Union (BOSETU) is receiving applications for the Ntshegetse Exit Package 2025 – a retirement support benefit that recognises members’ years of service and helps them transition smoothly into retirement.

What is the Ntshegetse Exit Package?

The Ntshegetse Exit benefit allows eligible members to claim P500.00 for each year of BOSETU membership. Benefits are formally presented each December at an event that honours retirees and distributes payouts.
Beyond the financial support, the initiative expresses appreciation for members’ loyalty and dedicated service in the public sector and offers a bridge while pension arrangements are finalised.

Who should apply?

• BOSETU members retiring in 2025.

• A letter of retirement or resignation from your employer is required. (If you are resigning rather than retiring, please confirm eligibility with your nearest BOSETU office.)

Required documents

Please prepare clear copies of the following:

• Letter of retirement/resignation from your employer

• Employment history

• First advice slip or record showing your first BOSETU deduction

• Certified copy of ID (Citizens) or Passport (Non-citizens)

• Confirmation of banking details

• Contact details

How to apply

1. Gather all required documents listed above.

2. Visit your nearest BOSETU office to complete registration.

3. Submit before the deadline and keep your acknowledgement/receipt for December payout communication.
