Thusanyo Funeral Undertakers
Thusanyo Funeral Undertakers, formerly known as Thusanyo Funeral Services was established in 1998. At inception, Thusanyo was a sole proprietorship, however in 2018 it was fully acquired by BOFUS. The company has 5 branches with plans for future expansion. The branches are currently located in Francistown, Tonota, Bobonong, Palapye and Maun.
Thusanyo Services
Thusanyo offers three (3) service areas;
- Provision of mortuary facilities allowing distribution of a range of funeral services through a network of branches in Botswana.
- Provision of affordable funeral insurance covers.
- Supply of tombstones, grave covers, wreaths, hearses, crematorium facilities and ancillary services like embalming
At Thusanyo, we know that arranging a funeral while you are grieving can be stressful and overwhelming. But it is important to note that there is lots of support available to assist with this daunting task and alleviate some of the stress you may be experiencing. Thusanyo Funeral Undertakers has two products custom-made for BOSETU members. They are BOFUS Presidential Funeral Benefit and BOFUS Masika Funeral Benefit.
BOFUS Presidential Funeral Benefit
The benefit value of the BOFUS Presidential Funeral is P25 000.00. The value includes a casket and other funeral services. They include the following:
- BOFUS Presidential Dome Casket
- BOFUS Tombstone
- P2000 cash for groceries
- Tent & 50 chairs
- P100 Airtime
- Public Announcement System
- 15% discount on casket top up
- 50 A3 coloured & 150 black & white programs.
- Transport (free 400km) Executive Hearse
- Funeral arrangements including Red carpet.
- Tree of Life or Framed Photograph
Benefit Value P25 000.00
BOFUS Masika Funeral Benefit
The benefit value of the BOFUS Masika Funderal Benefit is P15 000.00. The value includes a casket and other funeral services. They include the following:
- Masika Dome Casket
- 100 black & white programs
- Transport (Free 200km) Executive Hearse
- Funeral Arrangements
- P1000 cheque for groceries
- 15% discount casket top up
Benefit Value P15 000.00
Thusanyo has a service level agreement with a group of mortuaries which are spread across the country. This consortium is responsible for the storage only while Thusanyo handles the rest of the funeral arrangements.
